Scenery building instructions

I'll start with the basics, but a lot more challenging scenery is to come! In Warhammer 40k I built an entire Ork city, but this time I am looking for a game board with more nature than buildings in it (although it will have quite some of them, what would a game be without some good looking buildings?).
After I am done building the three last things that end with "(not tried yet!)", I'll add instructions for the next three and might correct the ones I just used to built.

Basing
My scenery is based pretty much just like my army. And that's how I do it:
1. Apply glue on surface on the spots you want earth to show
2. Add a mixture of sand, rough sand and small rocks (Games Workshop modelling sand for my units, own mixture for scenery to save money)
3. Paint sand mixture with Brown Ink
4. Dry brush sand mixture with Bestial Brown (or any other earth-like brown you like)
5. Apply glue on the rest of the surface
6. Add static grass (Units)/modelling grass (Scenery) to those spots (don't be greedy, just put tons on it and knock the remaining grass off after a few minutes of drying and put it back in the box)
7. Done!

Straight Road Segment (not tried yet!)
1. Cut out 11x15cm flat wood pieces for the base
2. Sandpaper the long borders 1cm in so that you don't create to much of a step
3. Apply "Basing" to those borders
4. Apply the same to the actual road, but don't use any grass! Actually, the road becomes a lot clearer if you don't use any earth spots on the sides
5. 8 segments are enough to make a road from top to bottom, 12 segments will be needed from left to right
6. Done!

Small Curved Road Segment (not tried yet!)
1. Cut out 11x11cm flat wood piece for the base
2. Use a compass to draw the curve (it should be 9cm wide at any point!)
3. Cut along the line you just drew with the compass
4. Apply Step 2-4 from "Straight Road Segment"
5. Done!

Big Curved Road Segment (not tried yet!)
1. Cut out 22x22cm flat wood piece for the base
2. Apply Step 2-4 from "Small Curved Road Segment"
3. Done!
